The rules for using Tejas, as a shop or as a customer.

These terms are between you and Matih Labs, which runs Tejas at tejas.matih.ai. By using Tejas you accept them.

What Tejas is

Tejas lets a shop take and track orders. Taking orders on its own web page, on WhatsApp and in a shop chat is coming soon. The shop sells. Tejas does not sell goods and is not a party to a sale between a shop and a customer.

Shops

• You must be allowed to run the business you list, and what you say about it must be true.
• You set your prices, stock and policies. You are responsible for your goods, delivery, tax invoices and refunds.
• Tejas has no monthly fee. For each order a customer places through Tejas, you pay nothing if the order is under ₹100, and 0.4% of the order total, plus 18% GST on that fee, if it is ₹100 or more. Once the orders in a calendar month (India time) pass ₹50,000 in total, later orders that month are charged 0.25%. The fee is final on your monthly Tejas tax invoice; the figure shown before then is an estimate. Counter sales you ring up yourself are free. See What Tejas costs.
• WhatsApp charges for some messages. Each such charge has a monthly cap that you approve first.

WhatsApp and Instagram

• You may send a customer a message through Tejas only if the customer has dealt with your shop or has agreed to hear from it. You must follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
• Instagram import is coming soon. When you connect Instagram, you will allow Tejas to read your profile and posts, and you will be able to disconnect at any time.

Customers

• An order is a request to the shop. The shop confirms or rejects it. Tejas tells you which.
• Refunds follow the shop's return policy shown on its page and the law.

Not allowed

Do not sell what the law forbids. Do not send spam. Do not try to break, overload or misuse Tejas, or other people's accounts.

Ending

You may stop using Tejas at any time. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can. A shop can export its data at any time.

Liability

Tejas is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Matih Labs is not liable for loss that comes from a shop's goods, delivery or advice, or from an outage outside our control. Nothing here limits a right the law gives a consumer.

Law

These terms follow the law of India. Disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction over the registered office of Matih Labs.
