Sharma Kirana, an example for kirana stores
Kirana, two places
One shop at Kothrud and one at Baner, each with its own delivery window.
For shops, restaurants and trucks
Your orders land in one list, with stock held for each. Customers pay into your own bank account. You pay only when a customer orders. Your website, WhatsApp and table ordering are coming soon.
Orders land in one list and draw on one stock count, so two buyers never get the last item.
A page with your name, your photos and your prices. It is your brand, not a listing in a marketplace.
Buyers order in a chat and tap to confirm. You get an order card and tap Confirm, Reject or More.
It will answer questions about items, stock and hours, and take orders, in the language your buyer writes in.
Put a QR code on each table. Diners will scan it, pick their food and order from their own phone.
Your team will take orders and bill at the counter, and each person will have a role, with limits on discounts and refunds.
The buyer sends a message and taps Confirm on the order card, which also has Cancel and More. You get an order card of your own, with Confirm, Reject and More, and the order moves on from your tap.
Tejas is for any shop that sells to people it knows, in person and on the phone.
Kirana, two places
One shop at Kothrud and one at Baner, each with its own delivery window.
Restaurant and pizza truck
One business with two places. The truck takes orders ahead for a pickup slot, paid by UPI.
A group of branches
Each branch will keep its own shop, staff and invoices, and the group will see all of its branches in one place.
Sharma Kirana, Tulsi Kitchen and Sunbeam are made-up examples.
The tick will mean Matih has checked that you are a real, registered business at a real place. Nobody can buy it. Every shop can earn it.
You will answer once, in a short guided flow in the owner app. The same answers will switch on online payments.
Buyers pay by UPI or on a secure card page, and the money goes to your own bank account. Tejas's fee is billed separately on the monthly invoice and is never taken from payouts. Card details never touch Tejas.
Connect your Instagram account and Tejas will draft items from your posts, with a name, a price and a photo. You will tap Add to approve each one. It will never post for you and never read your messages.
Pricing
For each order a customer places through Tejas, you pay
Free under ₹100, then 0.4%
Free under ₹100. ₹1 + GST on a ₹250 order. 0.4% of the order amount from ₹100, plus 18% GST.
| Order | Fee | GST 18% | You pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹60 | Free | - | Free |
| ₹250 | ₹1.00 | ₹0.18 | ₹1.18 |
| ₹500 | ₹2.00 | ₹0.36 | ₹2.36 |
| ₹2,000 | ₹8.00 | ₹1.44 | ₹9.44 |
Under ₹100 there is no fee. From ₹100 it is 0.4% of the order. Once a month's orders pass ₹50,000, later orders that month are 0.25%: a ₹250 order then costs ₹0.63 + ₹0.11 GST. The fee is final on your monthly tax invoice; what you see before then is an estimate.
The docs show each step, from your first item to your first order.
