Connect Tally, Marg or Setu

Read your items, prices and stock from your books, and write each sale back, so you keep one set of records.

If you use Tally or Marg, or Setu (coming soon), you do not need to type your catalog again. Connect your books once. Tejas reads your items, prices and stock from there.

What flows #

  • From your books to Tejas: items, prices, stock and customers.
  • From Tejas to your books: each completed sale (coming soon). Your books stay right without double entry.

Your books stay the owner of prices and stock. When a price in Tejas would differ from your books, Tejas keeps the books' price and tells you. You change it in your books.

Invoice numbers #

A shop on Tally, Marg or Setu gets its invoice numbers from its own books. A shop with no books gets a numbered series from Tejas for each financial year.

What we fill in for you #

  • Your company. Tejas finds Tally or Marg on the PC and lists the companies it sees. You tap yours.
  • Items, prices, stock and customers. Read from your books. You type nothing.
  • Your company name and GST number. From your books.

Defaults #

  • Each completed sale is written back to your books (coming soon), with the voucher number from your books.
  • Your books stay the owner of prices and stock.
  • Matih support can reach the PC to fix it if the helper stops, and tells you afterwards.

Change them under Advanced before connecting. For example, you can switch off writing sales back.

Steps #

  1. Open Website and integrations and tap Connect my Tally PC, or Connect my Marg PC.
  2. Tap Send the link to the PC's WhatsApp. Whoever is at the counter can do the rest.
  3. On the PC, open the link, install the helper and type the code.
  4. Tap your company on your phone.

For Setu there is no PC. Tap Connect Setu and agree. That is two taps.

Connect #

  1. Open Website and integrations.
  2. Pick Tally, Marg or Setu.
  3. Follow the steps on the card. They install a small helper on the PC where your books are kept. For Tally and Marg the card shows a pairing code. It works once and lasts 10 minutes. If it runs out, make a new one.
  4. The card shows Connecting, then Working.

No books? #

Use Tejas's own list. You can also move to books later. Your items come with you.
