Staff and roles

Give each person only what their job needs. You choose each role with plain switches.

Owners see the whole shop. Each staff member sees their own work, their own target and the dashboards their role allows.

Add a person #

1. Open Team.
2. Tap Invite and add the person.
3. Pick their role.

Roles #

Your shop starts with Owner and Staff, plus roles for your kind of business. A kirana adds Counter and Delivery. A restaurant adds Manager, Cashier, Kitchen and Rider. A clinic adds Doctor and Front desk. Every shop also has an Accountant role for your CA. It can read GST and payment reports and cannot see customers' phone numbers.

You can rename a role, add one or remove one. A role can be removed once its people move to another role.

What a role can do #

Each role is a list of plain actions with switches. Some have a limit.

• Take orders. Confirm orders.
• Give a discount up to a set percent. Staff start at 10%, managers at 20%. Owners have no limit.
• Refund up to a set amount. Staff start at ₹500, managers at ₹5,000. Owners can refund any amount.
• Change prices. Change stock. Hand over and deliver.
• See dashboards. Use Ask. Invite people.

These start off, and you switch them on one by one: see cost and margin, see customers' phone numbers, void a bill, close the cash drawer and export reports. Nobody can give a role more than their own limit.

Several owners #

Every owner has full rights. One owner is the account holder, and invoices go to them. They hand the seat to another owner. They are not removed.

Staff without a smartphone app #

Staff can work on WhatsApp alone, with task messages and voice replies. A shared counter phone uses a 4-digit PIN for each person. Every price, stock and discount change records who made it. Staff stay signed in for their whole shift.
